Earth Day

We bought Avatar yesterday to watch in celebration of Earth Day, but we had such good shows taped on our PVR, we just watched TV. We are loving The Vampire Diaries...I was happy to see that Zark from Alias is on it now. I have always enjoyed Zark and miss Alias. I guess it's kind of sad that on Earth Day we only watched tv...but it was raining out!

MIL's Birthday

Chad was working last night so his brother and I took his mom out for her birthday to Open Sesame. Had a really good time, and she loved the Guess purse that we bought for her. Since Chad's family lives in Cranbrook, we don't get to see them too often.

Lexie and I took a nice walk in her favorite dog walk park before we picked Chad up from work.

The Last Song

My husband and I went to see The Last Song last night. I LOVED IT! It is sad, but happy sad (definitely brought out the "ugly cry"). I have the book on order and hope it gets delivered soon. I would recommend that women go see it. My husband did not enjoy it at all...but he was a good sport.

Frustratig Day

I had a frustrating day. It feels like even though I work my hardest, I never have enough time to get everything done. I feel like I'm permanently behind at work. And my poor fish, Sachiel, really needs his bowl cleaned!

I went to the gym where I felt more sluggish then I should have. On the bright side, at least I went to the gym.

And my husband bought me lilies which was a nice surprise.

First Post

I have always thought keeping a blog would be fun (and challenging!), so I am giving it a try.

My husband and I wanted to take advantage of the great weather, so we drove up to Kananaskis with our dog, Lexie, to go on a hike. Unfortunately, there was still a lot of snow and ice on the trails. We attempted to hike Ribbon Creek.

We went out to San Remo for a delicious Italian dinner.
